Communicated with the orthopedic doc today. He clarified the instructions that he gave my doc : boot only, no crutches…. Yay! No exercise that will move my ankle joint (biking, swimming, hiking, running, etc)….. BOOOO!
4 weeks at least. This is about the peroneal brevis tear.
I’m so bummed out… Ridiculously so.
I need to focus on what I CAN do : boxing, bodyweight exercises, modified movement…. I could go to the gym and lift weights!
I’m struggling with immobility being the fix for a stupid muscle tear.
On the plus side, it will force me to stop aggravating the plantar fasciitis and it will heal (it only showed as mild on the MRI).
